The time I went Organic

A few months ago, I tried to go organic. I started by visiting Oranjezicht City Farm, where you can harvest your own organic vegetables on certain days of the week. It was fun, novel, the produce is gorgeous, and I felt good about myself.

Then I signed up with Harvest of Hope where organic veggies, grown in township communities around Cape Town, are delivered to collection points around the city every week.

Sadly, I only kept up for a month. It started out as a novelty, and should have developed into a way of life, but alas.

Despite this, I do recommend giving it a try and seeing if it works for you.

I have no excuses, but too many.

Have you tried to go the organic route?
